Lakefront Impression

Lakefront Impression is an 18x24 oil painting on canvas. This piece shows the complex simplicity of nature’s beauty. The soft blues and mixes of greens in the foliage bring the piece to life. Suffering from a physical disability, I more than often cannot travel to these locations to paint in person. So painting in a impressionist way allows me to show all the details I cannot see from home. I always reference real places but I change areas or colors to show nature’s constant changes. So in the end, I’ve created a “Lakefront Impression”.
