BRIDGERTON PORTRAIT

After watching the Netflix Series Bridgerton, I became enamored with the regal feel of the popular show.
In particular, the character Daphne carried herself with such elegance and a dash of innocence that I decided to paint her as a portrait. However I did not want to paint just any portrait, I wanted to paint something worthy enough to hang on a castle wall.
I wanted the viewer to feel giddy, opulent, and whimsy as she is coming into her womanhood and peaking out of the canvas to see what's next.
The entire portrait took a total of 3 months to create.
With lavender in her sleeves and extra sparkle in her necklace, she is meant to grab the attention of the viewer.
Her crown is the most special part to me. I added rhinestones and varnished it to complete the art piece.
I hope you enjoy this Bridgerton Portrait as much as I did in creating it.
