Merging

The shadows create perspective lines driving the viewer to the dappled light hitting the ground and trees. I enjoy painting these forest scenes where I can place the viewer inside a canopy of trees. The goal is always to simplify the chaos and show the beautiful patterns of light and shadow that nature provides.
