We have had a LOT of rain this summer and there are many little waterfalls on Mt. Greylock in Western Massachusetts. This one in particular really caught my eye with all it's levels and deep cuts in the rock. It isn't a very big falls but is the largest of the 3 I've painted so far. Before they all dry up I've been up on the Mountain painting them. This is entirely plein air and was a beautiful afternoon spent in cool shade, the sound of water and birds.
