In November 2020, at the height of the Covid-19 pandemic lockdown, I was working on a cold, dark day in a nearly-deserted building in Minneapolis. As I walked through the dark, empty break room, which was being used as storage for odds and ends, I suddenly spied this amazing arrangement of objects. The artful composition seemed like the embodiment of the art muse waiting to re-emerge from quarantine.
