Breaking in Barbados

Created in oil on canvas, I wanted to capture the shallow water foam and patterns that occur after waves break close to shore. The water in this scene was very calm with perfect breaking waves that curled showing a combination of turquoise, blue and green hues. The water was always moving in and then pulled back out to the next set of waves.
