The Pleasure Park II
"The Pleasure Park II, Acrylic on canvas, 200x200cm, 2017."

Ever since year 2012, the author has been using the identities of dogs and their symbols to play with how human relationships are affected by living under the changes of this material world.
That is to say, consciousness of social class was presented by the dogs themselves; they fully reflect the state of people surrounding them.
It is apparent that dogs not only offer a kind of attached relationship (i.e. trust, love & intimacy), but also reflect a sort of souvenir of nature; that is, in our treatment of dogs as humans we subconsciously turn them in to a kind of object or invention for our use, defying and casting aside the fact that they are still hunting, breeding and instinctually motivated animals.
The expansion of dogs’ characters and fields shed light on changes in our lifestyles via our relationships and ideologies. Potentially, we could ponder over our own lives in different dimension by gazing through their shiny eyes.
