I was inspired by the idea of resistance/ boundaries that are in stark contrast to the idea of releasing or letting go. In this piece boundaries and restraint are depicted by bricks and textured surfaces in contrast to the poinsettia which represents the beauty that prevails when resistance is alleviated.
