"Tender Light" depicts a special spot on the Narragansett Bay in Rhode Island. I wanted to challenge myself to paint the detail of the rocks without losing the interest in the large rock, the focal point. From this spot you can see the Newport bridge and all the fishing and sailing vessels traveling the bay. I spend an exorbitant amount of time here contemplating life. Its a quiet spot where I can sit in solitude.
