Last Days of Summer

Here's a spot on a corner in the country, the barn is old, maybe no longer used for its original purpose. That little side building, you could see through it and through the window on the other side of the building. Quiet, midday, hot, you hear nothing beyond the buzzing insects and maybe a bird or two. The flowers grow without care, an old piece of equipment just resting in the shade.
