Naturebreak: A Child’s Curiosity

This artwork, Naturebreak: A Child’s Curiosity was inspired by various daily plein air studies in various media from our backyard pond during the 30 minutes/Day 30day challenge in April 2021. In this acrylic artwork I wanted to express how taking a break in nature helps one regain a sense of curiosity in the natural environment and imagination, hence a variety of hidden figures interacting in the scene.
