Tulips and Tapestry

I bought these tulips at the farmers market this spring. I love tulips and love the renewed felling they give me as they are one of the first spring flowers to bring color to winter. I took them hope and set them up in this still life a old and loved tapestry rug I have had for many years and a old patina copper bowl. The contrast of color, textures ,and age and the manmade vs. God made objects were something I enjoyed exploring in this painting
